Molecular Biology

A molecular biology intern works on live, supervised bench tasks: extracting DNA and RNA, setting up and running PCR, performing gel electrophoresis, carrying out restriction and ligation steps and recording results in a lab notebook. You shadow real protocols and progressively own pieces of them, building skills the classroom cannot teach.

Internships are open to B.Sc and M.Sc students in molecular biology, biotechnology, microbiology, biochemistry, life sciences and allied fields, and to graduates preparing for laboratory roles. Entry tracks assume no bench experience; advanced tracks expect familiarity with pipetting and core techniques.

Academic tracks satisfy curriculum and credit needs; professional and industrial tracks focus on quality-controlled, workplace-ready technique; research tracks support dissertation and publication work.
