Crystal Structure Determination and Refinement

Interns will learn to process raw X-ray diffraction data, perform indexing and space group determination, and refine crystal structures using software such as SHELX or JANA2006. They will work with real experimental datasets to determine atomic positions, bond lengths, and crystal symmetries of novel materials.
